Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls

Book Description
Encyclopedia of Bisque Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls: 1936-1947, Identification & Values (Paperback)
In this book, the history of the company is presented, as well as a chronology of molds and trademarks, boxes, labels and inserts, furniture, special items, advertisements, and original company brochures. The dolls are presented according to series: Flower Girl, Around the World, Sports, American Girl, Dolls of the Day and Dolls of the Month, Nursery Rhyme, Hush-a-Bye, Little Miss Patty cake, Operetta, Family, Masquerade, Powder and Crinoline, Storybook, and Fairyland. Over 1,500 detailed color photos of these dolls and a helpful glossary are provided. REVIEW: Authors Elaine Pardee and Jackie Robertson have painstakingly researched and documented Nancy Ann Storybook dolls to make this book comprehensive. With the devoted help of numerous collectors, they compiled a reference book to be used as both a research tool for identification and a picture book for pleasure.

About the Author
having had Nancy Ann Storybook dolls in her childhood, Elaine Pardee discovered her love for them once again in 1974 at a local doll show, where she met co-author Jackie Robertson. She presents seminars, workshops, and slide programs on the various dolls by the Nancy Ann Storybook Doll Company, paper dolls, and other related topics at UFDC conventions and conferences.
