Rose Marie Strydom was born and raised in sunny, beautiful South Africa. As a small child she always enjoyed creating with her hands and found herself involved in all sorts of crafts.
As a hobby Rose Marie found she had time on her hands and started pottery.
In 1989 she found she needed more of a challenge and began making porcelain dolls.

Right from the beginning Rose Marie knew this was what she wanted to do and her passion for dolls has become her life’s work. Being entirely self taught, she has been able to develop her own unique style, creating realistic character faces and paying special attention to every detail, right down to the finely sculpted fingernails.

Rose Marie’s dolls have proved to be very popular and can be found in collections all over the world. As her children her dolls started growing up. These are Original dolls sculpted in Small Limited Editions by Award Winning Artist, Rose Marie Strydom.

All dolls are made of the finest quality vinyl with human hair wigs, glass eyes and poseable armatures.  They have handmade clothing, accessoriesand leather shoes.
